Comment:- Had a good sleep last night and crawled out of bed about 6 am. Quite a bit of rain overnight as the ground and the tent were very wet.

Had a quick breakfast, packed, said my goodbyes and on the road by 7.30 am. Cool morning, heavy overcast sky with a few showers was the order of the day. It was a cold, wet, miserable day. I even resorted to walking about 1 km to warm my feet up.

The road was flat with a break down lane of about 1 metre. It was a fairly slow hard day because of the south easterly wind which was blowing right to left across the road most of the day. Quite a few trucks both ways and I got to a stage I would stop when I saw a truck coming as the amount of wind they pushed virtually stopped me or blew me off the road.

Finally arrived at the Mundrabilla Roadhouse and booked into the caravan park. Tent up, had a shower then over to the café to do my diary.

Had tea in the café, read a couple of magazines then off to bed about 8.30 pm.

Tomorrow I will head for Eucla a distance of about 68 km
